My son loves books, Stuart Woods. While he was in Iraq (for 27 months) he has read everything he could lay his hands. I pre-order the whole world was there, and send it to him. I continued and it is now state side again. It was Bretton last book, i sms my son to ask him whether he wanted to. Stuart Woods writes like a modern Ernest Hemingway: prose lean, clean, bright and lively interest in a story and funny. What others say a few sentences, he said much better in a row. Stone Barrington has long been one of my favorite characters of fiction, but Stuart Woods missed the boat in this book of 300 pages. I stopped to read over 100 pages in the book and skimmed the rest of the book. Kisser Stone Barrington is like a man, a shallow, sex-obsessed, is an idiot. Like all books, Woods, I liked it. However, I found the rooms are poorly edited. Two examples: Wearing a wire “ear” and at one point, it is intended to help him, then later not in the same scene he is. At the end there is an error with the name Philip. It is named Parsons through the book, but then a few pages, it is Philip Larkin.Mais else. . . . Books are easy readings Woods.
