I loved this as a complement to the series. Frost is a fantasy author. I am the inspiration for the next book in the series full. Rating: 5 / 5

My favorite genres are Urban Fantasy and Paranormal Romance. Far from forgotten romance novels, too often, the paranormal and paranormal plots are not just a group of fall-human beings. Stories of paranormal romance BEST, before the story of love and in the middle, but never forget how the story is to be valid for the reader to keep it interesting. Let me see those signs in the fall for each other, yes, but let me see how their love, as in the dark and macabre elements in order to show fight. . . or should the district to see how this is a “paranormal romance”. This is especially nice for those readers who like me who like urban fantasy. “First Drop of Crimson” is a setting. This story is sure that all the intensity, humor and relationships hell we come to know and hold dear the “Night Huntress” series, and yet it remains an honest goodness romance. Frost is also a big A + for his characterizations. I fell on the far right Spade. He was not whining when he realized he loved Denise, he has not much time to deal with it internally, some other reveiw seems not care for Denise but I do not know how, and I liked how the man was, and yet it is his SASS could spark yet in force and is always fun. It gogo humor here, like the scene in which Spade goes unconscious and wakes to find himself died of people who believe he (really) around. The star of four instead of five years for a number of reasons. I thought the love scenes are a bit rate standard, and we all know, Jeanine can write a few love scenes, crazy fun. In addition, I did not want, how fast Denise seemed to be able to get Randy out of sight of the spirit. It’s a fantastic couple and a nice story, but it would have been better was a little below the line in the “Night Huntress World” novels, so maybe a little more time for Denise in mourning. The last point is that the story is set on the basis of a demon who has a bad case with one of the ancestors of Denise. Therefore, the demon is to kill the members of the family of Denise. People die before his eyes. Again, there is such an under-estimate the pain here. . . This is a blatant misunderstanding not a romance blooms when so many other things. In other words, this book has an entry in my extensive library, and I look forward to more books coming out by Jeanine Frost. It has proven itself. Rating: 4 / 5

I must admit I was not very pleased to read this book (* sigh * * * Egads!). The reason is that I am such an indifference to the spade as a protagonist. Do not get me wrong, I have nothing against Spade – it’s just that I Mencher, Vlad, Tate, Juan and Ian more interesting than he. I was also pretty “meh” by Denise as the main character – again, nothing against his character, but I’ve never really taken to them during the “Night Huntress books.” So I went into “first drop” with low expectations, and ended the book with a slight smile on my book visage.Le the past Spade as Baron-Edelmann studied, born on the first fleet bound for prison, met in Australia. Spade has a background very interesting, perhaps even more interesting than the prostitute turned-Bones Bounty Hunter (if possible?). Spade has also tell a sad story about how he lost the love of his life during the Napoleonic wars. I really enjoyed the whole story of Spade, while always in the background of IM & Bones were pounds. Frost has to feed a great job of bits of information on Spade – make it a part of the puzzle for the reader to comprendre.Denise and Denise is a young first mediocre. I do not hate them, but I do not like it either. I think it’s a case when you compare Denise Cat – which is so dynamic, self-deprecating humor and wisecracking – it pales in comparison. Denise had to make some witty remark, but they were rare. I did not expect Denise to be a very interesting heroine, and I think I was in my présomption.Je Spade and loved the romance of Denise – especially since the romantic story of these two and the various prejudices / Heartaches, she had to overcome himself. That is, I think the feelings for Denise Spade were a bit premature. We learn early on that Spade, not after a meeting with Denise, do not find appealing and was fired “for them. But it felt like after only 60 pages or where Spade had his decision to turn into a vampire Denise in place so that they be together forever. It really is like it came out of left field: in a moment, to his feelings against a human, and then suddenly decide to protest spend eternity with elle.Indépendamment rush job that I was rooting for Denise and Spade – and they are rather sweet Couple Night Huntress, is coal. But to put it in proper perspective so that the fans can judge the frost line squalor – I will only say that the sex scenes in “First Drop of Crimson” not as gritty as the (now famous), Chapter thirty-two “One Foot In The Grave ‘. A complaint I had with this book, the lack of Mencher. His book (the second night hunter is a spin-off) “Of Eternal Darkness” and will be released in July to present the 27th Annual Kiss . Because the history Mencher besides, I thought to freeze appetite of readers and a long term in a cameo. Not the case. Mencher is a breeze, and you miss her appearance towards the end. If I did not know better, I would have thought that Ian Night Huntress be the next spin-off would be history. I love Ian, and I was very pleased he has such a long cameo in “First Drop”. I think his story is amazing, especially because her character is so something of an enigma – at once dirty and greedy for power, but to help completely loyal to his friends and prepared, if necessary. But I also Mencher, and I was disappointed that he did not play a major role in the “First Drop “. I’m really frustrated, because Ian has not played such an important and large in this book, but Frost does not know if they write a spin-off for him, yet another small complaint – the different international settings unnecessary. Spade and Denise go jet set in this book from St. Louis to England and Monaco. But while Frost has spent time representation of the city of New Orleans “Defines a premature death,” it completely ignores the subtleties of these cities, “First Drop”. It are no descriptions, and therefore no sense of “place.” It might as well be the story in St. Louis on hold and it would be any différence.I Did not Love “First Drop of Crimson ‘. I liked it. I look forward to “Eternal Kiss’, just because I think Mencher is a fascinating (and sexy) character. And I’m very optimistic, based on a book by Ian. Rating: 3 / 5

I had no great expectations for this book because Spade and Denise not my favorite characters in the novels Huntress night and I do not think that they bones and Top Cat. I decided to read it and I was pleasantly surprised. I like better Night Huntress novels, but I’m excited about the book. Lynsay Sands is such a great author, and you can not succumb within the first few pages. I recommend this book! Rating: 5 / 5
