I'm not a fan of religious fiction. I would not normally read but could not tell from the summary of the plot that is what it is. For me, it takes a few steps from what delight there was in the by-the-numbers plot and took the story that is so not worth my time at all.Rating: 1 / 5

I am a little puzzled by all the reviews of this book frenzy. The scenario is changing very slowly and it is the description as you can browse through the pages I did and still most of all without missing much. The end was unexpected and was probably the most creative of this book. Glad I downloaded the free version of Kindle as I would have been disappointed if I paid for this book.Rating: 3 / 5

While I was very grateful that Amazon offered it as a freebie, I was also very grateful that it was a freebie after reading! As a woman, I hate that Kaycee Rae is afraid of almost everything! What a stereo-type! And then you have a good police officer concerned who is the only one really believes it, and come to us personally and search his house for her, how often? I think it was 4 or 5 times? I want to live in a city where the police come to my sweet home! :-) I found myself hitting "next page" fairly fast as I browse the many pages of Kaycee password and so forth on her fears. . . ENOUGH ALREADY! AND mysteries taste as much as I do, I would try to understand ending before hand. . . I realized it before the end WAYYYYY! Thanks, Amazon, offer for free. . . and I'll read another book Collins to see if it was better. . . Sorry for the bad review!Rating: 2 / 5

Unfortunately, I am one of those players that once invested in a book will not be completed until the book is completed - no matter how terrible it is. Then I feel like I wasted my time for these types of novels - and this was the case. I downloaded his other book, but will certainly not lire.Il was difficult for me to focus on the characters - and the pace never picked up until almost the end. I understand that people are afraid, but how realistic is the plot? To have someone fears realized in this way? It comes too quickly gathered at the end - without a "big bang" to start the story.Rating: 1 / 5

I have not finished this book - the plot was OK. BUT, Kaycee should be the main character most annoying I've ever encountered. Shouting, groaning, shaking, panic, crying. . . . . . . from a constantly crying, sickly child to a self-centered, paranoid adults. Fortunately the Kindle version was free.Rating: 1 / 5
