This thriller had many shortcomings and has never been more authentic. It was a total lack of activity of the character – you never had a sense of unique character, which makes it difficult to act on that slow care. The author seems to have ADD, jumping from scene to scene and never a strong narrative. Very annoying, I could not bring to an end. . . Rating: 2 / 5

I always loved Hoag Novels by year, type of reading light in category thriller.Celui did not work. I think his ambition, something beyond his capacity. This novel about the hunt for a serial killer in a small town on the coast of Southern California in the mid-1980s, and it seems Hoag also trying to capture the mood of the time and place with only mixed success. First, there are anachronisms clunk that appear strange, and very entertaining, especially for someone like me who currently lives in the region. For example, it refers to the lighted pylons at the entrance to the Century Boulevard to the airport in Los Angeles if they do not exist in reality until much later in the year 2000.Sa EXurban representation of the life of the times it does not ring quite true. I come from, if I have a family at that time in an environment that is almost exactly as it attempts to describe the story, frankly, if it is not an “Ozzie and Harriet” time does not, of course, it was with people both dysfunctional populated as we see in this book. This is just a part of the problem with the book: the characters are not fully realized. You are a cartoonist bits.Ma guess is that one reason for the time will be removed for forensic modern history, but I do not know how much it has on the line of site would be affected. So, me with the result that they can consciously trying to create a portrait of the time, and if so, it is not really successful. The mere memory of some television shows of the day is not a time I créer.J not determine that the accumulation of much tension in the story. I was not clear whether the emphasis was on the effects on children, teachers, novel, or a crime. I think the story was tight editing in place.Néanmoins, it is said all this, it’s always amusing fare readers. 3 star demie.Rating: 3 / 5

The storytelling is great. If you use this book, I suggest you try the code ATLANTIS Charles Brokaw. Both authors are great writers and storytellers. Rating: 5 / 5

To flee in 1985, at Oak Knoll in Southern California, fifth-grader Tommy Crane and Wendy Morgan, the class bully Dennis Farman and Flunk Cody Roach, when the duo flee trips over a dead woman’s head. The victim was closed in the wooded part of the Oakwood Park to the neck, eyes and mouth glued buried. Her fifth teacher Anne Navarre tried to help both children face.Sheriff ’s Detective Tony Mendez has just returned from participating in the eleven weeks profiling class at the FBI Academy. He noted this is the third victim in two years, but the father of the Deputy Chief Dennis Frank Farman said only two of its responsibility, and insists “signatures” are not related to the trade. Sheriff Cal Dixon, said the visible differences between this case and the previous two. Meanwhile, Anne is the prime suspect is the FBI agent Vince Leone, to conduct the investigation. This is an exciting serial killer thriller is cool to the mid-1980 as the date and profiling is that still to some voodoo officials in the old days of repression. The scenario is fast from the time Tommy stay on the head of the victim for most of the buried and not slow down until the climax in a hospital room and a ride on the Interstate. Too many threads are suspended, even for a sequel or two, the fans are the nice police Tamu Hoag Reagan era procédure.Harriet Klausner Rating: Enjoy 5 / 5

I think this is a romantic thriller. The fact that Vince and Anne did not respond to P. 152 is a good indication that the novel aspect is not really important. I must say that I and people like Lucky Doucet Jack Boudreau (Hoag’s characters miss his earlier works.) So, there is little romance and a number of unpleasant characters distorted and some pretty terrible murder. This represents a total lack of hope in it. In fact, the book ends with Ms. Crane flies with his son, who expect a lot of good can come to him. It seems that, overall, the book is a downer. Rating: 3 / 5
