I could not get over my first novel, Dresden. I have over 120 pages and realized that it was not worth continuing. How can the world enjoy reading this clown above me. Humor is at the Police Academy movies (and not the first, the only good guide) and the land at a snail’s pace. Butcher should be forced to read Raymond Carver, so he can learn a detective novel to be written. I gave the book an additional star, because the idea is porn of vampires dramatized. Damage Butcher could not with the quality of his prose with the originality of the idea. Rating: 5.2
This was by far the worst book of the series. After I finished, I decided that I did not continue the series, I was ready. I’m glad I changed my mind, because the books 7 and 8 have been fantastic, Rites of blood was below average. As in all his novels Butcher creates depth of great character. In addition, the entire surface (the war with the Red Court, the drama with the White Council, the Never Never, its involvement in the fairies) are progressing in this novel. However, the fact that the game uses a porn movie for this book a little higher. I have problems with the assumption that lead in the battle supernatural beings. This novel can be ignored for the series because of its importance, but I wish he could. Rating: 5.2

I liked the first few books, but by the sixth book, I could not about vampires. I would like the author to another kind of evil vampires anywhere else to add. Are not there other types of bad to conquer for a wizard? Too many of the same. . . . . Rating: 5.4

Harry was a little more depth in book five given, but in this book, with no break in the action Harry learns that he did not know and to confront uncomfortable truths about his mentor Ebenezar McCoy. I will not say any spoilers so I will give is that Harry helped his half-brother and has a dog. The end is strong and so happy that something is not for Harry, but some elements have a large precursor, and sent me running the bookstore to get to the next. Thank you, Jim! Rating: 5.5
