I am a big fan of detective novels and had never heard of Maureen Child. I downloaded this free after reading the reviews. I enjoyed this story, and I bought two more books by her. Rating: 5 / 5

This is a problem with the Kindle. Had I been in a bookstore, I would have realized that he was too short, too-simple story of love. If predictable and unbelievable, even for a simple love story. Not worth a beach reading. Rating: 2 / 5
