Sorry, but this book was terrible. I understood where Elaine was halfway through the book. I thought the first book was ok, but after that I’m not reading books by Sue Grafton also they go downhill fast! Rating: 5.1

This is the first Kinsey Millhone I read, and given the success of the alphabet series, he proved a great disappointment. A plot that is only slightly deflected, the dialogue is banal, juvenile delinquency is telling – example: Kinsey describes as “starving” of which she says … uh … Struck by attack of the voracious appetite – and the images that often pedestrian blunt, sometimes, sometimes physically impossible. discussed at one point Kinsey “concentric circles”, he will drink cold with a highly polished table with his. nice image, beautiful, multi-syllabic word concentric. “The problem is, if the container with the drink, the spontaneously Base contracts and expands, it does not make it could with concentric circles. Exactly know that this series is not the complete series, but shorter books for young people. We did not, and ordered the wrong one. Rating: 5.1
