The Handmaid’s Tale has tried to scare the bejeepers out of us, the thought of a theocracy based on the principles of the supposed conservative Christianity. Besides been very badly written book whose success has an enlightening concept particulière.Alors such as The Handmaid’s Tale is at its peak, the real thing, Talibanic Afghanistan, was on hand as an example. . . chose.Sauf true that this is not a Christian, of course. Why should a pathetic story about the possibility of something very unlikely that the reality is at hand? Hostility to Christianity may be a reason, especially among the teachers I spoke about which they have taught him. In addition, there is the comment of a British cartoonist asked why he scornfully caricatures of Muslims but Israelis did not. “The Jews are not fatwas problem.” Among the Hidden, “the children tried on one of the possible scenarios, highly unlikely – to frighten the United States of America. Presumably, children can grow afraid to choose the right path to take advice carefully fed their fears and ignorance of the world réel.Le real world includes China . The Chinese policy is worse than the politics of this book to a child, not two, as the maximum family likes. There is a little early to talk to about abortion and forced sterilization in this age group, but facts are facts, which should be sufficient to rationalize anything-goes school sex appears ed.Et China has a cultural practice of infanticide fiction. On féminin.Au more than this terrible world of wonder, so ignorant, why the reality is obscured in favor of the non fiction.Mais not ignorant pas.Ils surprised just watch “The Handmaid’s Tale” and its acceptance in public education to see. I just read this book, as I have the most books, which in my opinion, in the playlists of my children. On the back cover of the book, he says he is for 8-12 years. I have also heard that this book is used in public schools for the children of the middle school. I agree that the used vocabulary and grammar are simple enough for those times, but I think it is wrong to offer this subject in this age group. The theme of the third child who lives in the shadow of the future, escaping and finally connects with another, as he himself is a part of history. I was interested in him, decided to try it. The book arouses hatred against the government, which has been tyrannical in the extreme. Children obey their parents open, and the risk of their lives, but the author does not look bad. I’m certainly not this book in the library of our children. There are other books in the future, offer similar themes like “The Giver” and are better written. I taught in public and private middle schools and I would say that most children have to deal with at this age, no understanding or insight on this issue. I am glad to say that I borrowed a copy from the library before any money for them! Rating: 5.1
I’m talented and I read this and it made logical sense. but it lacks soul. I recommend this book to a year old next five poppy cultivation. Rating: 5.1
Luke is a third child. To control population growth, the government requires that each family has two children, and only two children. Luke’s mother had two sons, Matthew and Mark, then gave birth to Luke. She could not bear to give to the government if it was hidden. Luke can not go to school. Luke can talk with anyone outside his family. And now that a division has sprung from behind the family farm, Luke can not go outside at night. His life depends on it: if it is discovered, it will be executed. He feels alone in this world, until one day in secret in the attic window, he sees a little girl in the house behind him. A little girl in a house where two boys already live. Excited, he rushes to the house, and she allowed him in. His name is Jen, and yes, there is a third child. Jen does not remain hidden forever. Jen is determined to change things somehow, or die trying. For she is hidden, it is like a living death anyway. It was a good concept, but implementation was missed. The book was generally very low, especially the end. This is part of a trilogy, but based on this first novel, I do not think I read the other two. Rating: 5.3
Among the hidden is a good book. Boring at times, but you should read on. Other books in the series are great. Among the Hidden begins with a boy named Luke, who has a third child. Under the law of the country can not have two children. Since Luke is a third child, he must hide. When the forest started to be near his house, slaughtered in the houses, he could not go side. Luke sees a girl and steals more because he sees that she lives in a family of four. She and her become friends and she has a lot of things for him. Rating: 5.1
