A gift of grace is a touching exploration of what it really follow the will of God, rather than its own resources. As the novel by Beverly Lewis, the redemption of Sarah Cain, a novel that uncomfortable with the integration of Clipston English in a Amish community because of parental death. The girls – in the novel English Clipston’s who left the Amish sister, her mother died, are collected – are mostly well done and act as a normal teenager would, if they trusted by their friends and will be removed surroundings and immersed in a culture that is alien to them is. Rebecca, they can not have children believe are so happy to finally raise children, it ignored signs that suggest it is not God’s will for him to help the girls. The only sticking point that I had with the novel, the characterization of the husband of Rebecca Daniel was. Although Rebecca thinks he’s right in his behavior toward girls, I found it to be too cruel sometimes, and even children – especially when you have to decide between him and the children. However, apologized for her character Rebecca shows a wonderful Amish – unconditional forgiveness – and perhaps that is what we should know after all. Rebecca is modest enough to keep forgiveness in a situation where they ask for some of the blame, and she sacrificed her desire, her two teenagers with the will of God. How often do we learn in life, God closed one door but he opens a window, and at the end of the novel have a daughter Rebecca in her new niece and Linsday, against all odds, a baby on the way. Overall this is a fun and uplifting addition to a wonderful art Rating: 4 / 5
I really enjoyed “a gift of grace.” It was an exciting, engaging and emotional story that is good news and had a lot of heart. It was an interesting look at a culture that most people do not understand. The writing was not fabulous, and I felt it was a little boring at times, but it was an afternoon well spent to read. I recommend it to anyone who is a relaxing and reading light! Rating: 3 / 5
In the list of the bestselling novel I Kindle another Amish and found he loved very much, so I thought I would try it aussi.L idea of the story is very good: Two teenagers steps into the world with their aunt after their parents died Amish. As history is written and the plot is developed is not so. First, the book seems very “unilateral” (pro-Amish) and also the same – exactly the same! – The phrases are repeated over and over again. Some biblical quotations seem to be called (and letters) at least 15 times! The main character always has the same idea, and they are always portrayed in exactly the same words. Every language is more cheese anyway, and the story is very prévisible.Pour me the purchase was a total waste of money. Not recommended for women from the religious right, their outdated views of motherhood and femininity. Rating: 2 / 5
